I've really been able to curb my disc buying over the past few years but I finally gave in to the region free The Last Detail by Indicator. Twilight Time put it out previously but the Indicator disc is crammed with special features and it seems like a better transfer too. It's like $20 from Amazon UK. Looking forward to catching up with this one.

I've not even seen Housekeeping; I read and loved the novel recently, and have been heartened that the film version is apparently faithful.

The only Indicator release I own is Body Double, which has a terrific presentation. Indicator, by all accounts, does good work across the board.

I'm glad The Piano Teacher artwork went untouched.

Yup. I saw it a second time last month and it really confirmed for me that it's probably Reichardt's best film and definitely one of the best of last year.

Really happy about The Piano Teacher and Certain Women, especially, but I was kinda hoping they'd have announced Personal Shopper by this point.

I bought their releases of Housekeeping and Fat City recently, and watched Housekeeping the other day. Good label.

I saw Stalker last Saturday, too, but I don't think it was a restoration. Kind of strange since usually theatrical rights get locked down.

From the Janus Stalker trailer, it looks like the sepia parts of the movie are a lot brighter, is that true? Like the part where they follow the train into the zone looks like it happens at a different time of day now.

Lots of great-sounding extras on that, worth it for fixing the aspect ratio alone though

Barry Lyndon looks pretty stacked but it doesn't look like FWWM will have much added.
