I was watching Downtown 81 and all these No Wave bands I used to think were amazing just came off as preening hipsters so my old age goes both ways

waldo come to the uk and go to festivals with me and my brother for a summer. mostly multi-genre underground rave ones, some reggae/dub and the odd pure psytrance one to hang out with the friendly hippies. you can bond with my dad over dj screw and i'll bring my juggling balls

the Too Pure label had great examples of Good Indie Rock imo

i can't imagine listening to Th' Faith Healers "Lido" LP and thinking indie rock was never good
