Damnit you had me rushing to Discogs cuz I thought I was sitting on a goldmine. These prices aren't that bad. Like yeah, a bit expensive but seems pretty typical for a cult favorite with limited run pressings

That said I can't wait for this new album and the return of the greatest touring karaoke show in the world

"decide decide" & "sensitive recollections" have to be some of his most unabashedly gorgeous compositions

don't mean to channel the "I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO GROW ON ME" mindset but this takes a few listens to click

not as good as pitiless censors, but i'm really happy to finally have another maus record.

From a production standpoint, I don't like this as much as his last few. It's much more slick.

This album seems to be missing energy in the vocals and the layered-synth warmth of the other albums...

Still psyched to see him live this weekend though.

not loving it; lacks the weird left-field turns of the prior records and just feels a bit too slick without being particulary impactful. Still. I ride...For maus

I need to revisit his earlier albums but I feel like you can hear how the synths play off each other better on this one.... particularly on tracks like Decide Decide.

Like the last album was viewing a wall of synths from afar while this one you're inside a less tightly packed wall of synths.

Album is much better on headphones for this reason

Best part of the album is when he goes "la da da da da da da da da" in Touchdown
