I read four pieces of internet criticism on Forever and two interviews, so I'm pretty sure I can speak authoritatively here.

You are maybe the only person in the world that hated this and generally it's agreed to be one of the best things if not the best thing on TV in 2018.

calm down, everyone. a lotta people complained about season one not being good after the first few episodes, but it turned out to be very good. i have faith that this season will get better (and it's not really terrible as it is, just a little bit of a step down so far).

everyone's ignoring my great point that this show is probably better on netflix than week to week.

that moment with Eleanor and the Australian scientist was really sweet. i have faith the season will kick ass. it is funny how it wrestles with being the most exposition-y show possible.

sad (not rly tbh) that "Yes, Dear" star Mike O'Malley pops up in these little roles

i remember one school semester in which i, for no true reason, religiously watched the entire Yes Dear run on syndicated on like Lifetime or something. potentially the most inessential show imaginable.

Mike O'Malley is most compelling imo when he's paired with a magnetic costar, such as the aggro crag

I think the real question is: who is my hometown of Nashua NH's greatest export: Mike O'Malley or Triple H? Tough one, tbh.

finally got around to watching this. only like halfway through s2. i knew the main twist of s1, but my wife didn't. it was interesting trying to figure out when i would have guessed/suspected. i didn't love the first season, and i think there's a weird habit of havign a decently funny joke or bit of character comedy, then they sort of do a second explainy punchline that kinda makes it less funny. but it';s improved a lot into s2.

janet is the funniest part of this show to me by a billion miles

Don't particularly agree with the rest but this is true.

I think Janet has been a little lost in S3, probably the character that loses the most with the setting.

even no-powers janet is still pretty good. her reaction to the wedding announcementToggle Spoiler was great.

Good, but not as transcendent, I'd say. Less high highs, at least.

Yeah that episode was everything I wanted. I think the show is finding it’s footing again but I know a reset will happen again.

I like jason's character on the page but I do not like jacinto's portrayal whatsoever. everything he does—like every gesture and facial expression—is so BIG. it's like he's doing a kel mitchell impression.
