I have a source that says Donald keeps breaking them with his fat ass.

weird to me that people can like very overtly political music like neil young and not get the point that it's about them.

but then again, trying to conceptualize Donald trump listening to any music feels like an exercise in drafting a mental picture the multiverse so he's probably just lying.

Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
End up like a dog that's been beat too much
Till you spend half your life just covering up

Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
I was born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.

Got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man

Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man said "son if it was up to me"
Went down to see my V.A. man
He said "son, don't you understand"
I had a brother at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there, he's all gone
He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now
Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years burning down the road
Nowhere to run ain't got nowhere to go

Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., I'm a long gone daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., I'm a cool rocking daddy in the U.S.A.

I loved when Tom Scharpling would talk about Celebrity Apprentice and the way Trump would be forced to say "Dee Snider, you're a wonderful musician, love all your records," as if he's ever heard a second of his music.

to be fair, "i'm a cool rocking daddy in the USA" is a pretty misleading lyric

no, why would i joke about that? pretend you're a conservative who believes the government has abandoned the dignity of our troops by making them fight with one hand tied behind their back in vietnam, then those veterans return to a country that just doesn't want to work any more because the hippies dont have any work ethic etc etc. plus too many government restrictions harming small business. no wonder he cant get a job.

these are not uncommon opinions

does the chorus seem so ironic now? is it ironic or nostalgic?

I'll never be able to forget it. Or the end of the spot with the music and Trump yelling "We love... the Hindus! We love... India!"

It's burned into my brain forever.

do you interact with people in real life? people slip up like this constantly, trump just has to speak in public more than most so hes gonna stumble through words more often. its just a stupid thing to concentrate on. any conservative can see through this crap and easily rebut.
