like over the last month, particularly with regard to family separation(/immigration more broadly), i've seen people i know or follow from the different sides of the democratic party divide seem to coalesce around virtually identical rhetoric, tactics, and policy positions, including calls for abolishing ice. this week that's now also true with regard to proposals to pack the courts, possibly impeach gorsuch, etc. i discussed it with a friend on fb and he described it as "the entire coalition being radicalized (value neutral use of term) and unified by a shared sense of extreme threat" which seems right.

this is maybe wishful thinking but i also feel this will be the trend as we head forward toward another 2-6(+) years of this

Peter Daou is a leftist now.

look im admittedly not a big PSA dude and lord do I hate seeing those shirts on the train but some of you have such a weird idea of what those herbs talk about

like someone in here a couple days ago made a sarcastic post like "but the psa guys say mueller will save us!" and they've actually been beating the opposite drum on twitter for like 14 months

I dunno like I said I'm not real big into those guys/thaat podcast but they're reaching a lot of people and delivering mostly solid info and advice on twitter. kinda seems like their influence is a net-positive

didn't most of this board listen to KI1600 when it was on every week?? I'm pretty sure hpn is the first place i even heard of it. it was when they called hannity after a debate.

whatever who cares everyrhing is fucked and I'm kind of drunk

Favreau posted her campaign ad and said it was one of the best he’d ever seen 10 mins after the race was called. I don’t know what they could possibly shit on her about because they completely missed it and are prob still learning who she is

The past few times I've listened they definitely haven't shied away from criticizing dems. I think it's crazy that folks here hate on them so much too. They do seem to have a wide reaching audience.

it bothers me when they try to say things like “good for jeff flake” and they definitely carry too big a torch for traditional leadership. I like them more when it’s horserace shit/just lamenting news. I understand why they’d be that way given their careers, i just can only deal with so much of it. And half their guests are shit dems or they’ll have that conservative dude on sometimes and i just cringe
