they changed the location during the filming of the pilot - originally it wasnt douglas firs but some other tree that cooper was in love with. they just never updated that line.

TP club sounds like fun, I'm in. I vote for two hours every Sunday but I'll go with the flow. What's there, like 30 episodes total plus the movie & missing pieces? Two a week is roughly 16 weeks which would get us to the Return BD release date nicely.

the northeast corner of WA (north of spokane) is fairly wooded and colville national forest/the salmo-priest wildnerness area have plenty of doug fir. also another nickname for eastern WA is inland empire although that's probably unrelated.
