in frost's book sam went on a self-destructive bender after chester's disappearance

i never made the (ret-)connection before just now so thanks

the northeast corner of WA (north of spokane) is fairly wooded and colville national forest/the salmo-priest wildnerness area have plenty of doug fir. also another nickname for eastern WA is inland empire although that's probably unrelated.

So I guess at least the NIN and Big Ved songs WERE written for the show? Definitely makes some sense. Now I'm kinda curious which other ones were.

RBK did you read this?

https://consequenceofsound.net/2017/09/stream-twin-peaks-ost-with-track-by-track-breakdown-by-sharon-van-etten-johnny-jewel-rebekah-del-rio/

I think for the Roadhouse, Lynch chose which song(s) by the artists he wanted them to perform (except Lissie, who I think is the only one here who says she got to choose?)

Then "No Stars" was written with Lynch's input but years earlier. Big Ved wrote the "Out of Sand" lyrics based off a vague phone call with Dean Hurley, and She's Gone Away was written for the show after Lynch rejected their original contribution for not making his hair stand on end. I think that covers it!

ohhh rad! yeah it's nuts how much some of the stuff fits given that it WASN'T written for the show.

Then an almost useless alphabetized list of players

Man this is how we learn Ike "The Spike"'s name, which is hilarious.

And "The" Nine Inch Nails

Damn, reading that brought on an intense feeling of loss now that i don't have that euphoric joy every Sunday and buildup every week. Realizing gradually the Roadhouse performances would be an (almost) weekly thing and then being excited to see who it would be from week to week was so insanely special.

I started this last weekend but would rather restart to sync w/ others itt

just one ep per eve? I was going to do 2 hrs each Sunday w/ FWWM then Missing Pieces between 2 and 3

TP club sounds like fun, I'm in. I vote for two hours every Sunday but I'll go with the flow. What's there, like 30 episodes total plus the movie & missing pieces? Two a week is roughly 16 weeks which would get us to the Return BD release date nicely.

I'm also down for this. Personally I'd prefer one a week but if it's two then what the hell I'm still down.

I made a thread for this: http://forums.hipinion.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=111951

I'll probably keep it to one a week, I really wanna take my time. I'm thinking of starting this Sunday, the 24th, with the pilot.

this jibes with it being close to the canadian border too (i.e. making it easy to get to one-eyed jacks)
