its fact that bobby looking up and feeling whats going down here is best scene in twin peaks
((Stuffed is loved by old and young because this is where the puddings get sent in. Criss-cross paving and those tinkly hanging bells make ((Stuffed a very homely access to Hades. Full marks.

Probably my favorite scene of any Lynch, or at least the one that moves me the most.

You can just imagine Lynch’s direction to Dana Ashbrook for that scene:

“You’re feeling a great sadness and confusion! You sense a darkness nearby! Someone you know is in great distress and is heading into that darkness!”

One of the reasons I love the Chromatics/"He's always been cool" moment in The Return so much is that when I see James standing there, awkwardly smiling in the direction of Shelly's booth, I can't help but think of everything he's seen and gone through in that bar, in that town, and in his life. He's still standing. James & Shelly are survivors :)

yeah - I said earlier in the thread I'm sure but it was probably one of the greatest moments with any piece of art i've ever had. that was culmination of 25 years of waiting and it was all worth it. i'm sure i'll never experience anything like that again in my life.

I’m sure I’ve shared it before but when i first saw Lonely Souls I was in a deep bout of depression in winter and was out in a cabin in the remote woods with my family on a weekend with the next few episodes of Twin Peaks saved on my “netbook” and with the early sunset and long cold nights made serene and sleepy with a cabin fireplace, watching that ep wrapped in blankets on headphones was the most jaw dropping media experience I’ve had. My sister was on the sofa nearby and reading The Road and she knew I was watching the series (she hadn’t seen it yet but I’d given her some updates) and I told her I knew who killed Laura Palmer and I had to walk around for a little while afterward to let my nerves cool down.

such vivid memories of renting these one by one from the blockbuster near my dorm, and the feeling of powering through season 2 at this rate
bob finally showing up again when josie goes into the wood

wandering public/lobby areas of nearby dorms for available tvs in the dead of night, also wrapped in blankets, since i hated my roommate
