I saw Joyce Manor open for Drive Like Jehu back in 15 and I couldn't figure them out. They were so earnest, and such a throwback, and all these kids in the audience were just going crazy for it, and it just wasn't making any sense to me at all. Then they did a cover of Weezer's "You Gave Your Love to me Softly" and it was like "OHHHHH. I get it now."
