I swear I saw October somewhere, but if they are dropping a trailer now, summer?

I had wiped it from my mind until this trailer reminded me of it

I'll admit this looks interesting but my aversion to McDonagh's style makes me wary He's not completely worthless though. Unlike his brother

Rockwell was the standout for me too, which was weird in a movie with Frances McDormand. it was an ok movie to me. I saw Lean on Pete right after which made me forget Three Billboards for awhile. Lean on Pete was so good.

This is playing here too. as someone who loved Weekend but hated 45 Years, should I go and watch this?

yes. it isn't really like either of them, but I'd put it more on the Weekend side for sure. I have loved all 3 of his features so far.

ive only seen in bruges and 7 psychopaths of his he seems like a quentin-tarantino-aspirant-ass screenwriter that found a genie and wished to be a successful screenwriter. and the genie adjusted reality but not his writing

i dont mean that his movies seem super tarantino-y, i just mean in the same 'USC film student' way here's the pitch: there are these assassins, but one of them is neurotic! and there's this whole 'metafictional' aspect. the whole thing culminates in this crazy shootout
