this weekend right? should be great weather making dolores an ideal spot to spend the day. might not want to hang out on hipster hill though (close to the tennis courts). it's being taken over by dirtbags who get shit faced on liquor creating an unpleasant atmosphere. space between 19th st and the playground is chill. go further up hill and your gonna get an eyeful of man ass.

Hey bay area thread, I'm going to see a couple things next week...here we go magic on the 12th, Margaret Dygas on the 13th and Jesus and Mary Chain on the 14th. Wouldn't mind meeting up if anyone is interested in any of those events.

Margaret Dygas would be cool, I'd be really interested to see what she does live -- but I'm laying low that week. Heading to Peru on June 15 for two weeks, so my girlfriend and I will be doing a lot of last-minute packing and such.

I used to go to these dudes' dance night when it was at this little loft warehouse space above Little Star on Divisadero. It was the perfect environment for that sort of thing -- just a big, mostly empty room with a few couches and the speakers set up, it was clear for people to just socialize or dance and it was loud. Then they moved it to some bar in the Tenderloin and it became impossible to hear the music, just background vibes for hipsters to talk over

i was in there for maybe 20 seconds, i showed up at 10:15 and it was completely empty, the streets were also creepily deserted

i asked when the band was going on and they told me an hour and i went home
