American Gods (the show, not the book, asshole)

Ive found in time the search on this forum was shit but if you google whatever keywords with the word hipinion, you get what you're looking for most of the time. I mean even when they keywords aren't exact.

So I've never read any of Gaiman's novels but picked up the TV tie-in paperback at the airport yesterday because I know people who are really psyched about the show. I'm actually enjoying the book so far (and may put off starting the show until I'm done), but I can already tell that this whole experience is just going to make me wish that it was Sandman on the screen instead.

Does it use Who Loves the Sun and Fool on the Hill? Because I learned on my flight yesterday that they're both mentioned in the first chapter or two.

Just blasted through the book in anticipation of this. Had always thought I'd read it when it came out, but definitely hadn't. Looking forward but ya definitely wish it was Sandman instead.

i read this book in high school (so 10+ years ago) and loved it, but i can barely remember anything about it now. i think the main dude was named wednesday, and there was something about pierogies(?) in michigan(?). i probably should've re-read it, but either way, i'm looking forward to watching this
