shitty frozen burgers with a slice of american cheese on a potato roll is something that almost always tastes good.

Dating someone who doesn't eat meat really drives this home. Like it's gotten me way more creative with my cooking. Id always just default to some sort of meat dish and now it's like alright, how can I make something delicious that dosent rely on any of that. And over time I've just found myself eating less too. We still do fish tho which definitely helps.

My biggest hurdle is getting off deli meats for work lunches. It's just so cheap and easy and fast to make sandwiches that way. I also know it's probably one of the worst kinds of meat to be eating reguarly.

learning how to cook veg properly and not just focus on a slab of meat was one of the best things about going vegan

we're trying to crack in to meat alternatives in meals. besides tofu.hard to find the good stuff

doing stir fries properly (with corn starch and everything) has made tofu go way further but still trying to find other sources of protein besides legumes n nuts n stuff

I've been a vegetarian for going on 7 years now. Every once in a while I'll have an idea that I miss something meaty and I'll grab it and instantly regret it when I put it in my mouth. I used to love sushi but I bought some tuna nigiri a few months ago and only finished it because I thought it'd be a bigger shame for the dead fish if I just threw it away

There's a really good butcher near my house right now selling happy meat from local farms. It's the only meat I eat anymore, and maybe once or twice a week given how expensive it is. I'm moving in August, so I'll probably stop eating meat after that unless I can find a similar place.

I cook meat pretty rarely but it would be very unlikely if I didn't order something with meat while out

Unless it's Indian or Mediterranean food, I give very few shits about eating out anymore. Vegetarian options are ass at all the local restaurants.
