yall see this...

You go through childhood and turn 9 or 10 or 11, and you walk around with weird feelings, and no one ever sits you down and explains them - sadness or loneliness or being dissatisfied with how things are or are going until you hear it in a song and it's utterly transformative. - rubicon

it's pretty cool looking but my main takeaway is that i hope my posture isn't as bad as that woman's.

i wish i didn't have a giant dual monitor setup with a hotrod computer that i love. it makes it difficult to see that as anything other than a sexy novelty.

but i'm also addicted to tactile knobs and sliders and buttons and stuff. i don't know if would enjoy work as much if i got rid of all those things.

That thing looks like a good way to blow $4k

I can't imagine that runs any better than a $1,200 desktop with a Cintiq and it's infinitely less repairable

So I just read a press release with specs and price and I feel like a prophet

That thing's cool in the way VR is cool

I've seen three longtime Mac using pros fawning over it on Facebook today.

Meanwhile, the only other PC power user designer I know messaged me at lunch to clown on it.

Looks like Microsoft cracked the code.

Do any Cintiqs come even close to a 192 PPI @ 28"? Seems like they have half that. the only things that compete with those figures are the iMac 5K and Dell's UP2715K, both of which will throw you into the $2000+ range, and the Dell's only a monitor.

But the thing's clearly targeted as an iMac competitor, and not a Wacom competitor.

And yeah, the thing's just sexy as all damn hell. I know a few designers who also got itchy watching those promo videos.

If I had an office where clients dropped by, or even a shared workspace where there were other designers around to impress, I'd definitely buy one.

But even if it cost the same as my current rig, it wouldn't really be worth it for doing actual work

over the years ive spent a lot of $$ on 3 different cintiqs and a yiynova cintiq knockoff, latest one im using is the cintiq hybrid, and its not that great i keep going back to my intuous 2.
so would give this a try
wish there were more wacom competetors

here ya go, http://www47.zippyshare.com/v/yadP2N9x/file.html

also for future font searching i usually google the font name plus "github", "vk.com" and "printroot" in that order

this one i found a link on archived.moe/gd when i googled with the "vk.com", vk.com usually gets me most fonts when i need them

unfortunately i don't have a printroot account but sometimes the links in their threads aren't private, if anyone knows of anyway to get an account lmk plz

I think that's a really powerful graphic!

100% not saying you stole the idea but I saw this literally an hour ago in my instagram feed for the Coverjunkie account, can't find a better picture online but something is in the air:

When was that released?

I honestly never seen that in my life.

Edit: Some guy called James Joyce designed it. It only landed on his Instagram page a few hours ago.
I released mine on my instagram account a week ago...
He also doesn't seem to be aware that there aren't just red stripes but white stripes as well that represent the 13 British colonies.

so i'm not really a visual artist/design guy, but i'm been doing the artwork for my new solo music project, and one of my next things is just some circles on a black background and text, and i've made a ruogh version in gimp but i feel liek it looks kinda..boring/flat/vector/ms-paint-y? like i dunno if the issue is that i should get some sort of textures on there, or not use flat black as a background or what.

some of the soft moon stuff is close to what i'm going for, but then i don't want to do that same photocopy texture he does cause i feel like it'd be too similar
