i like king krule

Ive found in time the search on this forum was shit but if you google whatever keywords with the word hipinion, you get what you're looking for most of the time. I mean even when they keywords aren't exact.

I still like him but nothing he's done has come close to the first King Krule EP with noose of jah city.

new song isn't bad. i like everything he's done under the king krule name but most of the other stuff seems pretty tossed off

I loved 6 Feet Beneath the Moon when it came out, but it hasn't held up that well for me. It's still good, but I only ever want to listen to one song at a time. As a whole, it feels lacking. I am excited for him to do other stuff though.

the live bbc track i posted is on the track listing for the new album (as "la lune") so i guess he is doing something with it. i bet it will sound completely different though given his general way of doing things.

i posted about my love for this track in the other krule thread i made, but it's crazy that this didn't make it on his debut. brings the tears for me. samples the "apache" drumbeat in the chorus and somehow it works??? (on a mostly rock instrument-centered song)

dude has had some definite moments even if he hasn't made a total classic yet
