I got brown in my size and it’s going to be hard to justify passing up $800+ in profit for a hoodie.

they had some rad light military/canvas-y kinda jackets for a spell there. the artists they collabed with were always cool as well.

why yall not like SP? and yeah ill never understand who is actually buying all these resale hoodies priced at 1k, i know theres spoiled kids with parents credit cards and rich foreigners and celebs and ppl who buy big pieces just take a photo in for social media clout and then resell immediately but ill never understand how there are this many ppl willing to part with 1k for a hoodie

Yeah I mean I get the whole resale/price increases for pretty much anything (my main vices are still records and comics after all) but I just don't understand how there's so many people willing to drop that much money on a basic hoodie. Maybe it's hitting the realm of people buy luxury brands so $1k isn't really anything to them? The Lois Vuitton collab hoodie was $800 retail and if you're getting an Off White or Vetements hoodie you're paying $1k no problem. Like there's certain items they do that are hitting that level of "high" fashion clout.

Dreamland Syndicate are putting out new stuff tomorrow, not too keen on any of the new stuff but will be picking up some of the older stuff if they restock it.

this is the main reason why that supreme drop is lame....
https://hypebeast.com/2018/3/jeff-hamilton-interview-supreme-nike-nba-logo-jackets

couldnt even give the dude who inspired it his own collab, similar to how gucci was doing dapper dan originally but they eventually up fixing that and working with him in the end

They've done it a few times this season alone. The "chicken dinner" tshirt in Week 1 was taken from some random rap EP cover.

i mean yeah they do that with every season with almost every piece referencing a design or garment from the past. like supreme designers and even jebbia will go to search & destroy or other nyc vintage stores to find inspiration for each season but i feel like with jeff hamilton it is different because they could of easily collabed with him for it and gave him credit and had him involved etc. they dont need to do an actual collab with rage against the machine cause a tshirt this season references one of their old shirts whereas with jeff hamilton he is a designer himself and kinda invented that look. it just would of been nice for him to have been involved imo

I don't know about or care about streetwear but I saw photos for supreme stuff with public enemy graphics on it and that looks kinda cool.

Pretty much only follow Boot Boiz now, he’s consistently releasing one or two designs I like. They’re strong mostly not corny designs and his prices are cheap. I think people have buzzers in their houses whenever drops new shit because it’s always selling out

I imagine people on the net buying stuff they hardly understand or want to be a part of but have no business being part of and now it’s this whole business with a unaffordable price tag. Whereas before you had to seek this stuff out, you had to find the shirt that said ELVIS SHOT JFK and people’d be like damn son where’d you find this.
