it sounds like the two leagues that exist are pretty full up keeper leagues, so if there are enough people interested in an l3 i'll run it
I'll join L3, or any of the others.

I mentioned it on the last page, but I'd really like to join another league besides the auction keeper.
I'm currently doing a slow draft in a new 24 team dynasty league and I probably completely screwed myself with my draft strategy, but I kind of love how absolutely dumb this team is. Through 10 out of 15 rounds, my current roster:
PG De'Aaron Fox - SAC
SG Donovan Mitchell - UTA
G Kevin Huerter - ATL
SF Mikal Bridges - PHO
PF Marvin Bagley III - SAC
F Dzanan Musa - BKN
C Wendell Carter Jr. - CHI
C Ivica Zubac - LAL
SG Chandler Hutchison - CHI
SF Keita Bates-Diop - MIN

I'm fine with a cash league. I prefer it.

I'm ready to give this a bit of thought and attention but I would be down for a consolidation/upgrade of Leagues 1 + 2 based on kicking out people who have dipped in the past.

At a glance I'm pretty sure half of League 2 checked out last season. Waiver wire activity isn't a 100% guarantee of involvement but the pattern from 8 down was pretty clear:

Very keen to consolidate leagues. The leftovers can start a new league if they object.

theoretically it'd be nice if everyone put some token cash into this to ensure some degree of giving a fuck, like $5 winner take all, but that's as much for me as for anyone else
Cash league sounds good to me.

i'd like to be in the consolidated league if we decide to do that. i've been active in every season i've played except last year when injuries put me out of contention early.

Man, I don't even know if I want to keep five players at those prices.
Can't believe I could still have Mitchell and Collins on my team. It paid off...
but at what cost!?

Definitely keeping Don M, Parker and Markkanen. On the fence about Beal 23/Millsap 18
No chance I'm keeping Wall or Boogie (who I traded LeBron for
)
Davis, Jrue and Mirotic are the only guys I'd keep on your team. Lillard maybe seems on the cusp?

I can theoretically keep 5 of these good players for not much money. the starred guys are essentially locks, the 5th is up in the air
*jarrett allen for 5
*will barton for 6
dejounte murray for 6
rondae hollis jefferson for 7
tj warren for 10
*gary harris for 19
*robert covington for 20
I could also keep kawhi for 65 but... man. that's steep. but is he going to go for much less in an auction? how much am I really saving? 5-10 bucks?

also l2 h2h folks, who wants to renew? who should get booted? I'm absolutely fine with kicking out most of that league for being useless (I'm looking at teams 8-14 here)
I'm also gonna start a roto league. who would be interested in that? post here or shoot me a pm

I am leaning towards rondae too, though I do think ed davis and faried will take away some minutes
it's hard not to retain a 1st round player. I'm going to need to try and draft one no matter what. giannis, jokic, et al will cost as much if not more
is any player really worth more than a 1/3 of one's budget? hard to say

in no doubt, but should we talk about consolidating l1 and l2?
keen to fuck up del/aeris in the finals. last season was fluke (lost my 1st and 2nd to injury).

Is there no option to make trades in the keeper league before we select our keepers?

i've thought about this and my issue with it is i'd prefer if only kept players could be traded (and all traded players are kept) if that makes sense. yahoo also has it off by default so that would require me keeping track of all trades, which would suck. my compromise is this:
- owners can agree to terms of a trade at this time. post the trade agreement on the league message board or in this thread.
- both owners must keep the players in the trade
- owners finalize the transaction post-draft
does that sound fair?

the main issue is that it will affect how much money teams do or do not have for the auction, right?

like say I trade kawhi (who has a $65 cap hold) to ratbags
being stuck with that contract on my books for the auction is the problem, so I’d want him off my team beforehand if possible
I’m not looking to trade anyone btw, just bringing this aspect up for discussion
