Last time I did it I posted a small parcel from here but I just ordered the main part of their gift from a website in their own country and had it delivered straight to my boarder

Good idea. In that case I'm not fussed if I get someone from overseas

Yep, I'm in.

Whoever gets me, I'm really open. But, if you're really struggling (cos my posts aren't all that illuminating), my interests include guitars, home recording, music, books (fiction, scifi, history), and art. Size medium in shirts. But really whatever, just have fun with it! Part of the fun is not knowing what you'll get. My only request, please no peanuts or anything that might have come into contact with peanuts. My kid has a severe allergy.

kinda want to participate but it's terrifying bc i feel like this place might have way high standards and/or judgmental attitude if i don't come thru with something that's 100% aces

i should do this, right? i'm a very thoughtful gift-giver usually. this is nerve-wracking

yah, I'm gonna do it. 8-) there's already a few people who i would love to get paired with so that's making me less anxious

i wear xs or s, like the color yellow, Japanese stuff from the '70s, occasional booze, always coffee, cooking/pastry/bread books, literally any candy on earth, noir art, books on film directors or genres (e.g. have a good number of Lynch, Almodovar, Cassavetes, Peckinpah, and Nikkatsu releated books right now), pins and patches...

yeah fyi i'm quite tall so i wear XL tops mostly, sometimes L

can a mod maybe sticky this thread for sustained visibility? why don't we have this sign-up thread stickied for the rest of this week and the weekend, and then email out names next week? i don't wanna step on the toes of abs or aoife, but I just would love to start shopping around ny before I fly home on dec 9th, and I think the earlier pre-christmas people start shopping, the more we can cut down on people sending off gifts late, i'd think
