lord of the rings definitely helped me learn how to gain context in reading. i probably read it too young and had to infer what some of the larger/more archaic words meant.

every time i try a re-read though...woof

hobbit movies were hilarious

i remember one sequence where legolas is randomly in the hobbit now and i think a dragon breaks the ground and legolas is jumping from the falling bricks like a platformer game
