I'm just going to enjoy it without any real rooting interest and go on a game by game basis of who is the least hateable in each matchup. I may be in Spain around WC time so that will add to the fun.

Soccer is a boring sport, you need a referee to tell you when it's over because the rules are so sloppy and you can and literally always do tie 0-0

I've only been to one professional soccer game and it was Man City v. one of Portugal's teams in the FA cup. Man City won 3 to 2 but they lost the series and were out of the cup because they didn't win by enough points in the 3 game series even thogh they had scored as much goals as the Portuguese team but the Portugeuse team's goals counted for more because they were scored at an away stadium and then I knew that this sloppy sport wasn't for me
