at the camp's mid-session campfire/talent show me him and the music program played a cover of in the aeroplane over the sea, just about 14 kids earnestly performing gang vocals over like three guitars. then in the final chorus verse whatever he and i broke out a quick quote of silhouettes on the shade because it had the same chords or something. it was essentially hootstock

I bet everyone in that session was either a counselor or a camper at one time at that same camp

Is that where the hoot bro cult recruit their youth

to me, the woman is clearly a romantic interest (as implied by the dancing at the end), but she initially takes the form of a bear because he perceives falling in love as something to fear

I agree. and then when they dance at the end, the joyless expression on his face is further evidence of his inability to let go of that fear, even though love literally saved his life

I was working at a call center a million years ago. One of the people I was taking a call from said, "It's going to be ok. Don't worry." I had to go down to the basement to change a fuse a little while later. The basement was constructed to be a nuclear fallout shelter in the 50's. I found a collection of empty jugs down there. I blew into the largest of the jugs and dust (ghosts?) flew out and landed on only one thing. A washboard.
