i’m not trying to fly high and proud here i just want a haircut so normal-looking i don’t notice myself. instead every Haircut for Men man in this town is trying to make me look like that movie guy

i'm telling you dude, i had the best fucking hair cut of my life in paris from this dude in one of the arabic parts of town. all scissors, for the beard too. i can't even fucking explain it, his attention to detail was mad perfectionist. he threaded my eyebrows. and he spoke no english at all, we had to use some dude waiting for a cut after me as a translator. just him and one chair and like 4 more dudes waiting, but he's got like wire in his mouth threading the shit out of my eyebrows and forehead. shit was crazy. didn't give a shit about how long the whole thing took.

since i got back to new york, i've tried a few new places and man, i'll never find another one like that again. and it was only 28 euros.

i kinda tried this once and i looked like i’d gone to someone and asked for “Hair Orb”. it actually spooked me on clippers just because i don’t want to accidentally orb again

i get that exact thing here from a syrian dude for 10 euro. only tried the threading once though, not a fan. he'd work on me for 45 minutes if i let him but i want to be done in 20
