I'm not too worried about it.

However, What A Feeling, Profondo Rosso Theme, Preciso Me Encontrar, and For Your Eyes Only are very legitimately enjoyable.

This is the best comp so far, imo.

edit - I guess I was referring to just the first disc. There's some good stuff on the 2nd disc but the 1st is pretty uniformly good.

I was going to name some favorites but there are too many. maybe it stood out because it was at the end but I really enjoyed the execution on 'uninvited.'

thanks for putting this together zurich.

Fun fact: for to eyes only was the very last track submitted (last night), and I invite fresh salad to talk about his computer problems.

DL'ing now...

Man, I don't know what is going on, but last time we did this, I was bouncing down the finished track, and my fucking HD crashed, HARD.
I threw it away, and I used a previous (inferior IMO) version.
THIS time, I had some fucking fire wire error... it would still show up on the desktop, but I couldn't access it.
I brought it to the Apple store, and they at least got that song of the drive for me.
It was nowhere near finished the way I wanted it to be, but fuck it, I sent it anyway (THANKS ZURICH!)
THE HIPINION COMP CURSE!

Excited to hear this. It's downloaded and ready to go. But I can't find my headphones, also can't find my mic. I'm a mess in terms of music making/appreciating these days. Will listen belatedly, will maybe even make an entry belatedly. Here's my preemptive "good job everyone" because I like this place and the talented people on here.

After one first quick listen (i'm late for work) "My Favourite Things" and "For Your Eyes Only" are brilliant. "For Your Eyes Only" makes a perfect closer.

thanks guys.

loud is what i was going for i think, wanted to make it sort of overwhelming. next time i guess i'll have to more obviously "call it" or whatever--i think i'd said something about doing it early in this one & in the other thread. no big deal though, i feel like both turned out.

I'm really sorry yours didn't make the proper comp, dude. In one sequencing, I had the thing ending and beginning with streets of philadelphia but I just couldn't make it work. both tracks were very good and I didn't want to leave one off, but in the end it didn't make sense.

yeah to be honest, I knew I'd blow some minds with this/make some folks scratch their heads, but I thought it worked really well and liked your track alot.

oh and if anyone is wondering:

I scrapped my cover of There She Goes by the La's becuase my computer couldn't handle the overdubs I wanted to do. It ended up being very by the numbers and only had lead guitar in the first verse.
