daniel palka is so good at exit velocities. just hit a 116 mph double. even his outs are sick. he had 114 mph ground out and 113 mph reached on error earlier today.

Also, Tim Anderson having another multi-walk game, including one with the bases loaded! Plus, he just scored from second on a ground ball to the first baseman.

Tim's progression this season has been undersold, he's always gonna be streaky, but his hot streaks this season have been really productive, now if he could get maybe 20% more efficient at defense he'd be a legit solid SS

i guess it's possible that javy's even more aggressive, even less disciplined approach will go back to somehow yielding career-best results when he's out of this slump but my god does it look and feel totally irredeemable when he's pressing

no Rodon? he doesn't hit the FA market until 2022, if this surgery can put him on the path to the pitcher he should be then I say he's the 2
dunno if I would pencil Hansen and Dunning in quite yet, although I assume both will surely be part of the discussion come 2020

some hope

MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal on Monday spoke to Angels general manager Billy Eppler, who said, "There have been no changes in [Shohei] Ohtani's diagnosis and neither our physicians nor medical staff have recommended [Tommy John surgery] or said it's likely."

i am a big fan of bat flips, but that probably wasn't the right time for Valbuena to do one.

edit: just saw you posted the same thing. just saw the link originally.

miggy's arm exploded, so he's out for the season. only another seven years left on that contract after this year, at least.
