This new Arctic Monkeys album is really good

I don't listen to this band too much but I did get a message from an ex I hadn't heard from in years to tell me "Arctic Monkeys have a new album out and it's really bad". I don't know who to believe.

It's the best Father John Misty album of 2018.

reminds me of Plush 'Fed' album, so i dig it

"superstar treatment" and "four stars out of five" stand above the other tracks for me, but it's fun stuff for the most part. the album doesn't have that many hooks, but the hooks that are there really hit the spot for me. and i dig the vibes.

Hated on first listen but it's really grown on me.

Sounds like a chill Alex Turner solo project though rather than full Monkees album.

Lyrics are lol

Pull me in close on a crisp eve, baby
Kiss me underneath the moon's side boob"

Yeah definitely agree it feels like a solo Alex Turner record. I just love the vibe of this.

Yeah, I never understood how this band had any career after their debut record. That's the only one I could make it through for more than 10 minutes, but good for them on the new record. :)

Not a fan of Arctic Monkeys outside of a few tracks - but to my surprise I'm actually enjoying this new record

It's not for me, but this playlist of recent listening/inspiration he did is really good

I didn't even know they had a new record out and probably would have just ignored it anyway, were it not for a conversation I overhead at work where a couple of guys seemed pretty angry about it and called it "absolute shite"

I’m kind of a sucker for this band in general, but this is great in a way I didn’t expect. I like the goofy lyrics, too.

Yeah I think Cornerstone is my fav AM song.

Love the Alex Turner Submarine EP. Stuck on the Puzzle is a gem.

Anyone got tickets to upcoming shows?

Cost me nearly £80
