Cooper killed it. Gaga killed it. Dog killed it. Makes sense why but still a great depiction of addiction which a lot of times gets done wrong by Hollywood.

Something i wonder about the ending: why didnt he kill himself via motorcycle? It seemed to foreshadow that with her “Im never getting on that when youve been drinking” and it mightve saved some feelings believing it was an accident.Toggle Spoiler

this movie should end with a very apparent suicide imoToggle Spoiler

the streisand version is more ambiguous with a car crashToggle Spoiler and I don't think it works as well as the others

walking into the sea is more romantic than hanging yourself in a garageToggle Spoiler but cooper's ending is the best one
no buddy not really

i missed the ad.i got the kid thing, which is actually why i was hoping it would go another way. i just thought if he was really trying to do best by her and not make her feel like anything was "her fault" or whatever to move on, that was the move. but yeah, not cinematic i guess?Toggle Spoiler

I'll Never Love Again is a classic! I love it!

I feel like I wasn't as vocally enthusiastic as I should have been about this wonderful movie. I saw it twice in 36 hours! (including an advance screening the Wednesday before it was released in a great Dolby Atomos theater)
And I feel like this year is really about, just the year of realizing stuff.
