any rabid raccoon i've ever seen usually doesn't have normally functioning legs which would definitely hinder its ability to climb a building

they can barely walk let alone climb a building so i think you can rule that theory out.

they used to climb the side of my neighbor's house and watch me eat. they make insane noises when they have sex but they make even weirder noises when they're rabid.

falling is better than it meandering around from ledge to ledge getting more lethargic and confused until it gives up in a corner to die of starvation and exposure
