thanks. some of those are pretty cool, most just not really me. the ones i like best are $220 : (

i think the shoes i'm picturing don't actually exist.

evolv approach shoes are nearest i've found aesthetically, but i think i'd beat the shit out of them and probably slip and break an ankle. and the arch support is definitely crap...

i absolutely love everything la sportiva makes. the TX line of shoes are great. i would highly recommend the tx2 leather (https://www.backcountrygear.com/tx2-leather-men-s.html)

regarding a way to shop for shoes, if you want approach shoes that fit your foot and will be comfortable long run, you should really go to your local outdoor store and try a bunch of stuff on. they will have someone that can fit your foot to a shoe and you will be way happier long run.

also fuck evolv. seriously.

well, sure. my local outdoor store had only 1 (of like 4) brand that I was interested in trying.

I just wanted to get some good and cool outdoor shoes on my radar.

sucks

Kate Spade was and is such an essential office mainstay.

I don't own any of her pieces but that's only because every single piece I like is already sported by at least three other women in the same building.

what happened is obviously really sad but i feel horrible for a daughter, who at age 13, will remember this vividly for the rest of her life.

I don't think anyone is not thinking about the child in a situation like that, but treating it as if she just made the wrong choice about what to do is a pretty common, but :? perspective on mental health

you have no idea what/who she was thinking about or how she was feeling in the moments leading up to that choice and framing it as a right or wrong is incredibly ignorant and blockheaded

of course i don't and none of you do either, specifically when it comes to her mental health or otherwise. there is hardly a situation where committing suicide is the right thing to do. maybe my initial statement came out as boneheaded but having a child of my own it really does bother me that she left her behind and now i'm done because talking to you guys is pretty worthless.
and that's that.
