If nothing else, this thread reassures me that it's a problem both genders will face in the coming age.

i'm all for looking sharp (sth like gossling in that pic), if you can afford it, but i'm way too conformist to wear most of the stuff posted in this thread

i guess i get it, if you're in your early 20s and living in a metropolis you might wanna stand out from the crowd, but i'm in my early 30s and living on a rock in the Mediterranean. ironically, i think i hate boat shoes

also, i'm like 30-35 pounds overweight and have pretty broad shoulders, so it's not like i can wear anything i want

if i lived in the US i'd probably shop most of my stuff from J Crew. maybe i could buy the franchise rights for Cyprus and get rich?

yeah. i guess that's why the most you'll see is lightweight fabrics like madras/linen with blazers.

bottom right is definitely the winner of those four - not in love with the design, though. just get some sperry or sebago loafers dog. design is classic, they will do you well for at least two years

i'm a little nervous about buying shoes without trying them on first, but at least you can return them for Gilt credit.

Clarks desert boots are true to size, I'm a 13. They take a little breaking in, so they might seem tight at first.

I'm rocking these seavees this spring

word, I'll stop by a rest home to beat the shit out of some old dude and steal his clothes.

Though I will say women would benefit from dressing like Allison in the Breakfast club. Maybe that's just me though, I'm weird.

Bathing suits. What kind of trunks are you guys wearing this S/S? I'm so sick of my suit hanging down past my knees. Wanted to get something a bit more adult, so I grabbed a couple pairs of 16" trunks instead of 21/22" board shorts. They hit about 4 inches above the knee and fit really well.

Grabbed these from Modern Amusement

I also really wanted to get these from Orlebar Brown

but there was no way I was dropping $180 on a bathing suit. Found a pair made by Quiksilver (can't find a pic online) that look identical for like $13 on sale. I've gotten some shit from some of my guy friends about the length, but so far I've received nothing but compliments from my target demographic.

niiiiice

I have purple seavees that I love to death. gotta wear those more often. shit they'd look sick with these dockers I have.

by the way guys, really, go buy some dockers. they're like $30 and they have these new fit options and I am in love with mine.

if we're talking bathing suits, I love these:

$100 is a bit for much for how often I get to go swimming though (not enough), plus I have an awesome pair of box trunks from penguin that I picked up for like $8.
