spent a couple of days in the city and saw this baby raccoon stuck on the top of an apartment sill, then the mother came and rescued it with her teeth.

it was only the 3rd time ive done acid in my life and by far the best. 100% positive. and it felt fucking incredible like, having confidence in my own ability as a swimmer to put the usual panicky anxiety i have on trips aside and just enjoy the sensation of blue skies and waves and the sounds of the surf and the sensation of bobbing in them and getting swept under each swell and then re-emerging. insanely fun.

then somehow had the mental clarity to make a fire and cook a halfway decent lunch (which is another scenario i struggled with in the past while tripping), and then sat on the beach for the comedown and basked in positive mental thought while the sun set and everything turned pink and orange and the sound of the surf slowly receded. A+, would recommend.

okay i'm going on vacation with you next year

Rad

I did this in June and wound up having a B experience. It was very hot, and I had to talk my gf (who also dosed) through a difficult period when she got upset and started crying and had a mild freak out. Plus it was a half mile walk from the parking lot to the beach and we took too much stuff to the beach so that I had to make the trip back to the car and back to the beach on both arrival and departure. And we had a beach tent that we hadn’t set up before.

That said, the water was awesome, as was the beer, as was the food we had prepared, and my gf rebounded spectacularly and we had a good, good time from that point on. But my takeaway was that the beach is definitely hard mode for a psychedelic experience!

It was a goofy run though. Sat down and received aces, then a flush that went my way with two others all in. Then third hand was aces again.
