Do trophy shops have a code of ethics?

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around

Can you kind of just get whatever text you want engraved on whatever thing you want, or do you have to provide some kind of evidence that some kind of league exists or a competition actually took place or whatever.

Most (reputable) trophy shops will engrave trophies for SECOND PLACE OR BELOW, no questions asked. If you want a first place trophy, you usually need some proof.

Maybe when I was young, but this entitled new generation gets a participation trophy just for participating

i have a handful of trophies from middle school still but the only ones that weren't participation trophies were like one for being on the middle school student council, a second or third place math olympiad thing from 8th grade, and uhh "most improved player" in high school jazz band

i imagine the trophy world is similar to the bail bond world. you probably develop a sense for when to refuse service once you've been doing it long enough. also i assume most trophy shop guys have goatees

I found a thing that let me mock up pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

But I'm worried about this:

I'm worried that they'll either water down my vision or else contact the committee and find out that I didn't actually win.

I think there's too much space between the line that says "The Nobel Prize" and the line that says "for"

Does the actual one say "for" or "in"? I want it to be credible.

i got a consolation ribbon for swim team when i was kid. i knew that i hadn't won anything and was super confused about it.

my middle school award for being the best writer is probably the token of accomplishment from childhood that i'm most proud of tho.

fuck, how dope would it be to have a championship wrestling belt? that there's a unique token of winning. or the stanley cup? there's only one, so the team has to fucking share it. maybe they should make kids share participation trophies. yeah, you get an award for being around, but you only get to have in your possession for a few weeks out of the year.

wrestling has got to be the only competition that recognizes it's champions with enormous, gaudy belts. that and being from texas.
