Bloc party - "i still remember"

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your ass in

Bloc Party are the one band I will embarrassingly ride so hard for until I die no matter what they do. I feel like I owe it to Kele for getting me through some shit at various points in my life.

I won't apologize for their total duds (which they irritatingly seem to always turn into singles) but Intimacy is full of great stuff and the new album was surprisingly solid and even "Four" which was mostly mailed-in schlock has some balm tracks.

For one, I don't want to be known as the guy who randomly goes around and fixes people's computers. Even though I do that.

delgriffith wrote:This one predates A Weekend in the City a little, I think they recorded it around the time of "Two More Years" (another great song), so it's probably closer to Silent Alarm chronologically, but it never appeared on anything except this charity compilation called "Help! A Day in the Life" from 2005. But anyway, I've always said it's my favourite Bloc Party song and it probably still is:

Man they randomly busted this out as their encore opener at a show in Pittsburgh in like 2013 and it was incredible

Huh, tried to get into the album at the time and didn't like anything other than 'Hunting for Witches' and 'Flux'. Wonder what wasn't hitting me about this absolute banger, seems like it would have been far more reflective of my taste at the time than it is today :?
