Can we admit that Obama has a really big stick?

Let's talk Aguachile Alley

I shouldn't be all negative, though.

The good:

Shot the pirates in the head
That sweet equal compensation thing
The beers he had

Ugh.

No.

I'm saying that Obama's purported plans and policies were theoretically good for what ailed this country and he basically threw it out the window.

A lot of what Reagan proposed was needed at the time, too.

Very little of what Reagan proposed was needed at the time. We barely had a national budget deficit before his presidency. While he may have been a "great leader" he was a terrible president by almost any measure.

i wouldnt say he's sucky yet, but yeah his failings re guantanemo & patriot act are troubling to me because its the sort of thing that i wouldve expected him to be more aggressive on; even if it meant going out on a limb.

i always thought with obama that yeah, maybe he wouldnt get the whole healthcare thing passed, and maybe the economy would still suck etc. but if he could just get rid of the some of the piggy turns this country has taken i'd feel i got my votes' worth

i don't buy that the public option was unpopular. in polls it was unpopular when it wasn't explained, then popular when people knew what it meant

he doesn't really provide any support for his argument there outside of that one paragraph about the economy. and that only covers the economy.

i think the main argument against it is that the president is an enormously important SYMBOL, and that will never change. he (or she) makes very few decisions, but that doesn't really matter

Tapping the GayTM

The concept of drawing donations from an oppressed minority by promising them their rights but not delivering them, all the while asking for ever more money. Named for Pres. Barack Obama's vaporware promises to the gay community during his Election Campaign.

"We have to stop giving money to this car salesman of a president or he'll just keep tapping the GayTM."
