Did you all catch this quote from the office of House Speaker and Erik Gloom ally John Boehner?

"I wonder if the White House has polled the phrase 'thinly veiled social Darwinism' - curious to know how that zinger turns the dials... I mean, I'm sure attacks citing 19th century botanists has resonance with some Americans..."

My fellow Americans, do you really want to reelect a man whose attacks on my party would receive lukewarm responses from a focus group of rubes?

That's because Erik Gloom, who suffers from an acute case of Florida residency, controls this thread's title.

Did you other Obamatards get your email from Jim Messina hinting that the campaign raised a trillion billion dollars in Q1 2012? Excited, despite Gloom's latest flip-flop bringing me down this morning.

Well I was exaggerating a bit, he did say Saturday was the largest single day of the campaign by number of donors.

I was glad Obama said Reagan wouldn't survive in today's GOP which is imo an effective barb I've not heard the President himself make

When you set it as your cover, it looks like they're all looking directly at your profile picture.

I know that for some reason a lot of Americans look back fondly on Reagan, but the fact that it's accurate to assert that Reagan's insurgent right-wing radical views wouldn't make it in today's Republican party is even more damning than it sounds.
