The Rules:
-Submissions can get posted in the thread and/or PM'd to me. Video or other verification is appreciated if there's a tight race or a seriously impressive claim.
-All records must have been set within the last couple years, so no glory days stuff.
-No PED's, obviously.
-All lifts are raw (belt and knee sleeves acceptable, but no wraps or suits). Squats are parallel or lower (hip crease below the top of the knee), benches touch the chest and are unbounced (no pause necessary though), deadlifts are locked out completely without excessive hitching. No pressed lockout on the C&J.
-Push-ups and pull-ups are untimed, but done without rest. Arms past parallel on the push-ups. Pull-up grip can be overhand, underhand, neutral, rings, whatever; no kipping, chin over the bar, and all the way down between reps.
-Rowing is Concept 2, no starting gun setup necessary (i.e. set the piece distance and start rowing whenever you're properly steeled).

Cool idea, MLK.

Squat: 390x1 (highbar)
Bench: 310x1
Snatch: 165x4
Press: 200x1

Here are some other 1 rep maxes you might also want to include:

Incline Bench Press: 275x1
Front Squat: 310x1

Word. I think I might keep it to contested (or once-contested) lifts for now just so that the list isn't too bloated. You have (approximate) dates for those?

My lifts are mostly terrible and from years ago. I never really liked going to failure.

Bench: 275x1
Squat: 405x1
Dead: 455x1

I used to do clean & jerks but for reps. Can't imagine what would happen to my back if I attempted a 1RM. I would do like 135 for 15.

I'll probably use the 1 year bodyfat change, though it's usually about 5 months. I went from 225 (20%, 180 lean) to 185 (8%, 171 lean) from January 1 to June 1). That was multi-point caliper self-testing. Right now I'm at 195, much softer than most summers.

i'm not going to believe anything without video verification.
I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur.

performance enhancing drugs

Not that anyone would use any just for the sake of beating a hipinion record, but if someone's on steroids or whatever for another reason it still seems unfair. Legitimate testosterone replacement therapy is fine for old guys I guess.

Sounds reasonable. Stuff like coffee, smelling salts, creatine, etc. is fine; steroids, epo, hgh, etc. aren't (unless, again, there's a medical reason). If greenies are amphetamines (I don't know these things) I would be reluctant to let them in. Rule of thumb should be if it's particularly bad for your health it's not allowed--the thread is supposed to be about people getting healthy and fit.

I can beat 63 pushups
how is are the pauses counted against resting, like the army pt test?

Think I can get to the 275 area on bench again by christmas

and I have ran a very solidly sub-5 minute mile before but it was outside of the window, so, I'll start practicing on that

should be fun
