that sort of hyperbole is neurotic.
I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur.

you get this shit
then you get jokes about warcraft
then you get the jokes about math and the stalker notes

what part of this isnt horrific

jeph draws imaginary indie girls talking about masturbation, the xkcd lout draws imaginary math women dressing down people spouting ridiculous strawmen and then he writes loves letters to them, the sort of notes that would result in a restrainment order in real life

none of that is horrific, and some of them are ok. i liked the xkcd about the hadron collider giving a helicopter cancer. its leagues better than QC, or Cyanide and Happiness.

its my least favorite webcomic by quite some margin. whether or not that means worst is open to debate

its clearly worse than QC. its just smug comment thread posts dressed up with little stickmen and venn diagrams. intolerably smug

what XKCD did in that last comic isn't an example of a strawman argument.

i'll admit it is a little smug, though.

what argument is the author misrepresenting?
