I need these carriers to announce a deal on these new phones soon. My contract is up and my iPhone 6 is dying.

Probably more of the journalism thread fodder, but is dumb and facetious

Do the Apple payment program so you're not tied to a carrier

I hate Apple so much. I have an Ipad which should be great for doing some things like organizing my photos etc

However everything is pain. I'm trying to import photos from my camera - however the photo app does not have the "Select" button in import mode, so I cannot select multiple without tapping each one individually

I have already imported most of the photos from the camera. The only choice I get in the photo app is to either delete all or import all. So I'm gonna have to deselect about 5000 photos or start sorting them all over again?

if you have an iphone 6s or below dont upgrade... shit's unusable on ios 11 (golden master). 5 second delay before phone ringing and being able to pick it up.
everyone already rightly accuses apple of not bothering to optimize older devices, but lord this time it's really really bad

Alternatively, if you have a 7 iOS 11 has been my favorite upgrade by far. So many nice refinements.

yeah there really are. the new control center is great and you can finally customize it, the new 2factor system is both more secure and convenient, and i'm always down with rounding corners. i like that everything is friendlier and bigger. i dont like that you need 4 gigs of ram and a 6 core CPU to accomplish these

I probably shouldn't update my 2011 MBP to High Sierra at some point even though it has a 750GB SSD and 16GB RAM, right? (Going to get a new MBP in the next year at some point.)

Upgraded my 6S to iOS 11 and it's snip snip snappy as ever. No issues here.

If anyone has a regular 6 can you report how it goes.. dmitrys post on past page does not sound good

I set up my router to block attempts y my phone to contact the upgrade server :geek:

Also I have found the best Music app downgrade in Cesium. Cost a couple bucks but it's so snappy and functional.. basically like music was back in ios6 with some neat little extras like sorting by year and alphabetical artists in the album list

I think some of the people who are like "the new OS killed my battery" aren't taking into account that tons of apps are being updated right now and your phone's wasting a lot of battery downloading and installing them. It'll settle back down soon.

Also Dalen it's hilarious imagining being upset by that tiny shit.

The same shit comes out every time a new iPhone comes out, like 50 posts of "iPhone 8 OVERHEATING!?!?!?"

When you are setting up a new phone and downloading a bunch of shit, your phone is really active.
You know, signatures are pretty night bus...
