But... the show sucks. It's not even funny.

The whole thing with Aquaman being a joke, I mean, did anyone *ever* think that before the New 52? No. Did people who write for Robot Chicken? Yes. Did people who watch Robot Chicken? Uh-huh.

Bottom of the barrel, dawg.

I was asking in reference to the credit he has on the JL cover this week.

i'm not a fan of the show but you must recognize that its popular and the value in the cross promotion.

are you some kind of spaz?

That's it, get mad.

I didn't say that retards who seek out the variant don't exist, nor that the show is without a large demographic. I was merely asking for a profile of the kind of retard who would willingly part with money for such a variant.

But hey, while we're at it: I don't care about its popularity, either.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember anyone making any "Waterman" or "he talks to fish UH-HYUCK!" jokes until I caught the Real World Superheroes sketch about six or seven years ago.

To me, it's dickhead humor on a par with "LOL Batman and Robin are gay!", and the bit where Johns decided to acknowledge that audience with the dipshit blogger last year is something I'd like to forget.

nope
Slartisfgh is never mentioned in The Bible, but it is here, during one of the early battles, that Matthew spontaneously became liquid.

Yeah I liked it a lot.

Has there been any news on when/if it's coming back?

I thought for sure it was continuing past four issues, but I've not seen or heard anything else about it in over a year.

On that note, remember Nonplayer?

At least the Nonplayer guy wrote something to the effect of "I may never actually finish any more issues of this" so I guess it's not too surprising.

God shut up.

Maybe I should have said, "No one who matters thought that Aquaman was a joke."

No bad characters, only bad writers, etc.

Well okay, then point me toward these classic stories in which the character is regarded as a laughingstock, even in-universe. Please.
