i mean i know for a short while havok was "what if cyclops was cool", but that ended in the 90s

cyclops>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>storm is my point.

cyclops's era is over only because no one can really write him well right now or do anything cool with him
which isn't to say he isn't awesome

if he died and magneto and rogue took over for real my mind would be blown

you're a fucking asshole. colossus in the juggernaunt helmet is the most annoying, uninspired thing on the planet

also colossus, storm, and the real nightcrawler need to be on the x-men.

The best thing to come out of this shit event would be to wipe the past 3-4 years of Xmen continuity away.

Like I would have absolutely no problem if Nightcrawler suddenly teleported from the grave alive and well. Or the phoenix burned away cyttorak from colossus. Wolverine reminded the writers that he has regularly used children in the past and is not all of a sudden some gentle fucking uncle figure. oh yeah and stabbing someone to death doesn't do shit to the phoenix.

Cyclops as sole leader is an interesting idea, but he needs new writers.

The idiotic one liners as explanations for fearing the phoenix are really irritating me. "Wasn't Rachael a phoenix host?" "Yeahhh... but uh she was hard."

Is Wanda supposed to be an autistic retard now or something?

the roundtable approach does not work for an event like this, we need a single vision.

i thought it would be interesting to watch, replacing professor x's idealism with scott's pragmatism...

scott's moral compromises and spock-style utilitarianism dragging him gradually towards the dark side. they even added magneto to the team as if he needed a push. i mean really, where else does the character have to go?

i guess they don't have the guts to have him lose his way completely and become the team's new foil, a more modern magneto, but it would certainly be interesting to watch.

one very fuckin stupid thing is a bleak kill squad x-force that scott set up, only to put him back on the boy scout side by declaring it over and having it continue against his wishes
if he's going to be this pragmatic guy who's veering towards magneto, then keep doing that

if somehow no mutants end up getting their powers back, Cyclops needs to have magneto rip utopia back into space... and yeah turn into the brotherhood, what else could he do now.

Flash was pretty bad, Aquaman was pretty good, All Star Western was okay, Super Crooks was awesome

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to sit down and read the whole Omega Effect crossover (I've been waiting like three weeks for this)
try the data then reply

i'm just thinking about the watxm/uxf issues i'd write with cyclops taking off his visor when he sees kid apocalypse and the ensuing fantomex/cyclops fight
such a no-brainer
