I have said that my desire is to continue playing in the Premier League and Liverpool is completely considered.

"Liverpool is a big club that has a glorious history. The English Premier League is the platform that I want to be on and hopefully I continue to play in that division.

Also Lille have said they've been told Joe Cole will be returning to Anfield, it'll be interesting to see how that pans out. Rodgers seems keen on getting Aquilani back as well.

I mean, everyone is always reloading at striker, but I don't really think United need Lewy. He's the same age as Hernandez, Rooney is Rooney, and Welbeck is coming along pretty well. Buying a 23 year old as a 4th striking option seems a bit odd and probably not Fergie's style. But I mean, neither is buying world class midfielders.
