Tim Howard plays for Everton.
Clint Dempsey plays for Fulham, but he might move on this transfer season.
Eric Lichaj is on Aston Villa's books and they look likely to be purchasing Michael Bradley this summer.

I'm sensing a Sun headline involving Barnetta and Rooney's hair transplant.

Just got home & saw the 1st half highlights, terrible defending on both goals. Milner stepping out on that freekick was a total :x moment

Does anyone else get irrationally mad when following the BBC Sport live text whenever they publish a tweet from OptaJoe? The "Number - explanation. Kick." structure just rubs me up the wrong way. Samples:

OptaJoe on Twitter: "3 - Switzerland are the only nation yet to have scored against England in Euro 2012 qualifying, netting three times so far. Threat."

OptaJoe on Twitter: "22 - England have conceded more than one goal for only the second time in their last 22 competitive home internationals. Stunned."

OptaJoe on Twitter: "17 – Darren Bent netted 17 Premier League goals in 2010/11, four more than Zamora, Crouch and Defoe managed in total. Predator."

Djourou is on thin ice right now, very lucky not to be pinged for another free kick/potential yellow there.

Ashley Young is coming on for Lampard. Why not Milner?

England were so, so terrible in that first half. Absolutely wretched.

What the hell was Milner doing for the second goal? How is he even in the England squad, let alone the starting XI?

How's Wilshere looking?

It'd be nice if Arsene would sign Young since he's an Arsenal fan and all and Arsenal needs wingers.
every kid around the world who plays soccer wants to be rivalité. i have a great responsibility to show them not just how to be like a soccer player, but how to be like a man.

Well, no one in an England shirt turned up first half but Wilshere did make the penalty.

we're fielding a largely second string lineup for this, so this might not go so well

on the other hand spain are apparently pretty tired and unenthusiastic about this friendly, so who knows

Robbie Keane just broke Bobby Charlton's British Isles scoring record. Horrible deflection though
