the bobcats hired rich cho 4 months after he took gerald wallace from charlotte for joel przybilla and a late first round pick in a shitty draft.

Just over a week until the draft. Rambis is most likely out, so Kahn is more or less going to go with his own intuition again, just as he brilliantly did in the 2009 draft.

what is the thinking behind letting a lame duck make picks for you (like pritchard for portland last year, walsh for the knicks this year) this seems like the most retarded thing

Not nearly as retarded as letting those two go in the first place. To understand that, you'd have to understand why a guy like Pritchard would be let go to start with, much less why you would let him draft for you if he's so bad at his job that you had to fire him. Kahn thinks he's Talent Evaluating Jesus, Allen just writes the checks and Dolan is a flatout buffoon. It's all hubris.

I hope Faried somehow slips to the nugs. Other than that, the draft is pretty boring because no matter who they pick its likely they'll end up being bench players.

I am actually really high on Jimmer after watching his workout with the Kings. He looks super fluid and quick with his ball handling and drives to the basket. I think he'll at the least be a solid backup better shooting Barea in a couple of years.VIDEO

Shivs, do you think the Heat should draft Jimmer & just let him take 15 wide open threes a game?

probably a better option than having lebron and wade shoot them.
also a better option than letting Mike Bibby step on the court
