So frustrated with Harden right now. I'd love to think his performance in this series will make it easier to keep him, but no way.

How are they going to have a shot at keeping him anyway? I'm curious how there could be any hope that they could keep him and Ibaka. They already have nearly $50 million in contract commitments that year, and even if they amnesty Perkins they'll still only have a maximum of $18 million to work with. I'd be pretty surprised if Harden doesn't get a max offer and Ibaka a Nene-esque deal.

With Bird Rights you can go over the cap to resign your own guys. They'd be so deep in the tax that stiff penalties would come in (repeater tax) and they would only have the mini mle and the vets min to fill out the roster, but its possible. I could see them doing it if they win the title next year, at least for an additional 1-2 years.

Okafor and Ariza are awful contracts, Lewis only had 1 year left and could have been amnestied. It's an awful move by the Wiz.

Okafor and Ariza are only on the books for two years. I say it is worth it to surround Wall with a couple more guys that aren't still in Pampers. Now, if they don't amnesty Blatche, then I'll be furious.
