jesus its like half an hour later and im still think about what a dumb fucking opinion that is

yeah he should be grateful that the team that provided him with one year with some semblance of a supporting cast over a 12 year span "let" him win a championship. the guy said he still loves the fans, what the fuck do you care what his issue with ownership is

You should just buy the Hornets and move them to Seattle.

remember to NOT draft a center that looks like a 70 year old with knees that look 80. do that and everything should be fine.

Like Allen needs the money.

The Blazers are really one of the unfortunate stories of the past 10 years. I remember when Portland fans would troll Bulls boards and gloat about genius Pritchard and how they stole LMA from us and how multiple titles are around the corner blah blah blah.

Whoooops.

Now everyone laments Brandon Roy's knees and Greg Oden's ovaries.

Supposedly Paul Allen is listening to offers. I'm wondering if he sees the writing on the wall that this team may be in the lottery for a few years.

I'm excited about the draft this year but man, how quickly I forgot that while being a shit teame is good for your draft position, it really isn't fun to watch from night to night. On one hand tickets are getting cheap in the secondary market but still, a bad game just isn't that entertaining, even if you are up close.

I just take issue with people who take $21 million a year contracts that stifle any chance of a proper supporting cast ever materializing unless it's a bunch of good-but-not-great 30somethings at the tail end of their primes and then turning around and biting the hand that feeds when it turns out that it's pretty much impossible to win a championship that way. KG is just as culpable in the way things played out in Minnesota as the front office. I am not excusing the front office, because they made spectacularly boneheaded decisions, but those decisions were spurred, in part, by an untenable cap situation.

Bargnani on a contender is a scary thought. Dude is in NBA Jam mode. He's swish'd like four threes.

the hawks announcers are so dumb. "here comes chandler, now THIS guy can't shoot a foul shot". And they would not stop talking about scenarios in which the knicks would miss the playoffs. are there any hawks fans in real life?

well i have no loyalty to the rockets or suns, i just mean for the league in general. objectively dragic is a better all-round player for sure, but aaron brooks was one of my favorites.
