When we rank Sisko is it just for his performance after being promoted to captain?

I rank him for his whole time commanding DS9

Also JJ Abrams Kirk isn't factored into my ranking of Kirk

I’m not sure how to do a ranking without putting Lorca dead last for being an enemy infiltrator,

nope... some dude. promos were beneath her pay grade, i'm sure. sounds like they may have used a couple, but there is one main guy.

barrett did the "previously on..." when needed, i think.

weird finale, loved that final shot of future Earth though. I hope next season goes episodic. Give me more sentient jungle planets and shit like that.

That speech. This was like an end of series episode.

Questions to be asked:
- If Burnham’s rank is restored, she is the same rank as Saru. Who is first officer?
- Who will be the new Vulcan captain? It’s not Spock if Pike is captain of the enterprise rn.
- what do you think is going on with this enterprise meet up?
- where does the series go from here? ?

Anson Mount (“Hell on Wheels,” “Marvel’s Inhumans”) is joining the cast of the CBS All Access series as Captain Christopher Pike.

I think I mostly enjoyed this season, but man, yeah... very uneven. No real standout episodes, either, due to the lack of MotW stuff.
