General UFC matchmaking would reverse those (winner vs winner, loser vs loser) but Lee/Gaehtje seems like a weird one.

it's just that we recently had eddie-dustin and a dustin-justin war would get pretty decent numbers as some fight night main event. eddie also said recently(before the fight) that he didn't have much interest in a dustin rematch and is moving on

ngannou punch had me :o

that might be the hardest shot I've ever seen connect in the octagon. mike chiapetta described reem as briefly resembling a human pez dispenser, which is shockingly accurate.

stipe better enjoy that belt...

Seriously thought Overeem died.

Wanted Gaethje to win but Alvarez earned that win. In awe of both of them after that war.

Aldo’s head movement looked good and he was landing some good leg kicks, but Holloway was jusg unfazed. Terminator status.

Rumors say it might land on the Boston card in early 2018 which would be great - it'd be a double main event with DC/Ozedemir

As a result of St-Pierre's illness, preliminary talks are currently underway to book Whittaker vs. Luke Rockhold for UFC 221 on Feb. 10 in Perth

lol you're more likely to see conor fight pacquiao than ferguson

ferg just had surgery. strip conor and make the khabib-edson fight for the interim, maybe we'll finally get ferg-khabib.

khabib has already cut a good amount of weight the right way, also claims it was his friends that were eating the tiramisu

Main event was fun. A couple of reasonably entertaining scraps.

But the main event and featured bouts both had nice coming out parties for contenders.

ha, definitely pulling for whit, hate to see him lose in his home. guy is so classy, like to see him go on a nice run.

kinda want to see Perry get KOd tmrw, dude could use some humbling

lawler did not look too good in his last fight, barely won. he might be able to catch rda with something but leaning rda and dont think it goes the distance

should i bet a good amount on a prop that says cyborg-holm wont start rnd 5? seems pretty safe

only saw the final fight, did not think it would go the distance or be so one sided, lawler was pretty much done before the 4th. good show by rda.

looks like Lineker is out vs Rivera on the New Years card but Marlon Moraes may fill in if the UFC/commission accepts it on such short notice

It's not happening..Moraes was full of shit. Moraes called him out and then Rivera agreed to fight him at 138. Moraes turned it down and countered with 140. Rivera agreed. Moraes turned that down and then Rivera offers 145...Moraes again turns it down. All talk.

Moraes is a punk but Jimmie could have fought Dodson but turned it down. they moved the Diakiese fight to the main card

Holm has some of the best conditioning I've seen and there's a very small part of me that buys into an upset possibly happening, it's the same part of me that thought cm punk would beat gall though  I put like $80 or something on the fight not starting rnd5

going with all but one of the favorites on my predictions, thinking
Carla Esparza gets the upset

They switched to giving Jessica Andrade Tecia next instead of Karolina, that will be a hard fight for Tecia but hoping she pulls it out somehow

Gabi Garcia is fighting in the Rizin NYE show. She missed weight for around LHW by *27* pounds. Her opponent is in her 50s and was underweight by almost 50 pounds. There will be a 20 year age difference and a *75* pound weight difference.

I... don't even know what to say.

Glenn vs Jury could be fun (up next) - Jury was a bit time prospect who got a couple set backs against the top guys at LW, looks better at FW and facing an entertaining former WSOF champ.

Cynthia Calvillo vs Carla Esparza is a big challenge for Cynthia who's 3-0 in 2017 (and the UFC) and would be getting into title contention with a win.

Condit vs Magny is one I'm looking forward to because Condit's a long time favorite.
