yeah that made me snigger, i remember there being one guy who kind of ran through far too many people without even throwing a punch.

E - obviously this wasn't the hardest part to comprehend in the film though.
Batman surviving a whatever megaton nuclear explosion takes that award.

Yeah, nearly everything in the movie would have benefitted from being fleshed out further, something I wanted to see more of was the idea that Batman had been tinkering with light/electricity/EMP devices (shutting down the paparazzi, the light gun, the desperate move in the first fight with Bane) and aside from serving as symbolic point that he can no longer fight in the dark, he must beat Bane, IN DAYLIGHT, we didn't get any payoff there.

I know, the marketing made it seem like it would be such a big deal, and then it was just a setup for a dumb joke.

I have to say by that point my concentration levels were really slipping...i thought they said the autopilot was fucked?

I was convinced he was dead...was actually mad when they did the reveal in the cafe.

matthew modine really sucked in this. his character was stupid and his acting was bad. should have been axed from the script completely

early in the movie fox mentioned not being smart enough to get the autopilot to work

then in the closing montage, immediately before alfred seeing them in paris, fox and his engineers are looking at another BAT and the engineer is all "THERES ALREADY AN AUTOPILOT PATCH, INSTALLED SIX MONTHS AGO, BY BRUCE WAYNE"

LOL

I usually do a fine job of suspending my belief with film -- especially superhero fare -- but this did throw me off a bit

They used to do stuff like that on the Superfriends all the time.

also, say what you may about Bane's voice, but Hardy was so lyrical in his delivery.
dude is always just so in control of his character

pretty weak of Batman to leave the lives of everyone in Gotham City in the hands of a shitty Autopilot that had just been fixed

Loved Bane's voice, I find myself quoting him in that ridiculous, high class Scottish accent the same way I did with Ledger's Joker and Daniel Day Lewis in TWBB.

voice was great, plus i think hardy used his eyes, hands and arms really well to make up for losing 2/3 of his face for this role

there's this moment i loved during the sewer fight with batman where he throws his arms up and says something like "i am the league of shadows!"
