Adderall days

Jesus christ you have to be kidding me.

No. for me, it's only good for a small set of tasks - like doing really tedious repetitive shit, paying lots of bills, making important calls, researching. i don't like using it when i read because i usually forget everything the next day. then again, i don't take adderall that often.

they made a pretty good action/science-fiction movie about adderall. look up Limitless (2011).

this + chain smoking killed maya deren in her 40s. but i'd say it was worth it.

I'm the opposite. Well actually if I'm not working I don't really need it unless I have to get my apartment super clean super fast or something. But if I go more than a couple days at work without taking Ritalin I get really overwhelmed.

step 1: take adderall
step 2: fulfill desire to clean apartment
step 3: complete every item on your list
step 4: stay awake forever

yeah, I've actually never even tried it for study or work related reasons because I've never needed it, but for going out its effects for me are very similar to cocaine

In retrospect, this is mostly how it was for me, too. I think I was an actual insane person for all of 2008. Luckily, I remember nothing!

I'll randomly pop a 30 mg xr every now and then
kinda gets the internal motor going but as I've said before, it gets me to focus except not on any of the things I need to be focusing on. also I'm so used to the immediacy of smoking herb that the adderall buzz feels underwhelming
plus I grit my teeth, have a hard time sleeping and sometimes sweat more than usual
killer workouts though, can't deny that

also I popped one before doing a race at old rag mountain. normally I smoke a bowl and do the loop in 80-90 minutes. the time I did a pill was when I had no weed, so thought the pill would propel me to success like it does in the weight room. during the race, I thought I was absolutely crushing it and then crossed the finish line at like 115 minutes

is it worth spending a few hours to learn R?

is it useful for anything other than presenting stuff?

what would you do with R that you can't with excel or whatever you currently use? from what i've seen though, R is a really cool language to learn if you aren't already using SAS, matlab, scipy, or whatever.
