no, that’s required to separate words in a sentence, which was required for the design of space ships

it’s kinda ridiculous that we call space “space”. it’s like if we called the future “time”

I just finally got why george carlin's "the seven words you can't say on television" joke is supposed to be funny. It's because he says that you can't say them, and then he immediately says them. I always thought it was just supposed to be like "haha he said fuck", but now I realize that it's actually a bit sillier and funnier than that.

which is doubly weird since the show was originally Good Morning Miss Bliss w/ a different theme song. no relationship between the show and bells except the school setting, so if it was intentional it was even more obscure a joke originally.
like if anything, the name of the show would be a hidden reference to his name and not the other way around.
my whole life i’ve thought “foolball” and “football” were two totally unrelated sports. it literally just occurred to me that only “foolball” is an actual sport, and “football” is a denigratory term for what happens when you “cross” the fool in foolball. the double meaning being that an l, crossed, becomes a t, and that an angered (“crossed”) fool acts like a heel, or a foot. i feel like i could’ve easily gone through my whole life without realizing this
