he's been seeking so many opinions and he was supposed to have found out weeks ago. i don't think it looks very good.

mccarthy said on several occasions he wouldn't have felt comfortable playing collins knowing what he knew.

Falcons are getting Asante Samuel basically for way below market value because he made fun of the Philly front office. I love it, but I'm starting to wonder if they will ever have another draft pick again.

Someone post a link to the 2011 Draft Thread. I tried searching for it and failed miserably. :(

Losing Collins sucks but he's already been gone for almost a full year. Burnett needs to pick it up though. Peprah is average, MD Jennings a decent prospect.

Looks like the Falcons traded a 6th-round pick for Asante Samuel, and he's restructured his remaining contract into $18.5 million over three years

That's a pretty good deal

And our pass d was an abortion the rest of the season. Calling Peprah average is generous, his 4.6 compared to Collins 4.3 is a huge difference, and he doesn't have the instincts or ball skills to make up for it.

Peprah stinks compared to Collins but I don't think he's noticeably below replacement-level. I don't see another draft pick as a better option this year, anyway.

Outside of Barron are there even any noted safeties in this draft?

I agree. A lot of the problems last year were the result of communication issues too, so more practice time for Peprah and Burnett can only help. Signing Jimmy Leonhard seems like a great idea and I'd love it, but I have no idea how he'd fit in with our scheme. OJ Atogwe could be another good option.

The possibility of the Jets trading up for Richardson just cropped up on ESPN. Imagining something happening like Sanchez being traded to Cleveland for the pick and it's make me break down in laughter out of how possible it could be.

Jets should draft LaMichael James to run the wildcat with Tebow.
